How to Upload and Input Sworn Statements in Rabbet

Rabbet supports uploading both Owner Sworn Statements and General Contractor (GC) Sworn Statements. Once uploaded, Rabbet uses AI to recognize and parse the document, automatically mapping line items to your budget.

Uploading a Sworn Statement

  1. Upload your sworn statement as a PDF file to Rabbet.

  2. Rabbet will automatically work to recognize and parse the document as a sworn statement.

Applying Column Mappings

  1. Once uploaded, open the document.

  2. You will see the following message at the top of the document:

"Suggested column mappings available β€” Apply suggestions to prefill row mappings before confirming."

  3. Select Apply Suggestions.

  4. Rabbet will parse and prefill the following fields for each line item:

    • Vendor name

    • Type of work

    • Current budget

    • Requested amount

Adding New Line Items

If a line item on the sworn statement does not yet exist in your budget, it will be flagged with a yellow dropdown indicator.

  1. Select the dropdown arrow next to the flagged line item.

  2. Choose Add New Line Item.

  3. A pop-up will appear with the following fields pre-filled based on what Rabbet parsed:

    • Line item name

    • Vendor

    • Division (AI-suggested)

  4. Confirm the details and select Save.

The new line item will now be added to your project budget.

Saving the Document

Once you have reviewed and confirmed all line item mappings, save the document. Budget adjustments from the sworn statement will be applied to the corresponding budget line items and requested values.

Subsequent Draws

Rabbet remembers the line item mappings and edits made during previous sworn statement inputs. On following draws, Rabbet will apply those saved mappings automatically, reducing the amount of manual review required and increasing input speed over time.

Limitations

  • Sworn statements must be uploaded as a PDF file.

  • Multi-page sworn statements may need to be split into individual pages after uploading but before inputting for accurate parsing.
