The draw has been created, all draw documents have been uploaded and assigned, all rules have been reviewed, and the draw has been approved. It's time to send the draw package to various stakeholders.
A final review should be done on the draw 'Overview' tab for a final check of the automatic and manual rules. When you are ready, click the 'Package Draw' button.
Package and Arrange Draw
Within the 'Package Draw' modal, select the documents that should be included in the draw request. You can customize ordering and inclusion/exclusion of documents and section markers. The Draw Summary can also be included as a PDF in the draw package by selecting the +Add Template option.
To add a document Click on the + Add Document(s) option and check the box for the documents you wish to include.
To add a section marker, click on the + Add Section option. Here you can type and title needed to mark the section in the draw package.
To remove a document or section marker, click on the trashcan icon associated with the document/section marker you want to exclude
To rearrange the order of documents or section markers, click on the ellipsis icon associated with the document/section marker you want to move, and drag and drop it
Change the Draw Summary Template
The Draw Summary can be generated in several formats. The template currently in use is shown in the blue tag next to the Draw Summary’s name, for example “Template: Default (summary line items).”
To switch to a different format:
Click the ellipsis (…) icon on the Draw Summary row.
Under ‘Template’, select the format you want. The current selection is marked with a checkmark.
Click ‘Save changes’ at the bottom of the page.
Use the eye icon to preview the Draw Summary and confirm the new format looks the way you want before sending. The templates available in this list depend on what has been set up for your organization, so your options may differ from those shown.
Fill out cover sheet templates in Rabbet
Cover sheet templates can now be typed on and saved directly in Rabbet while you build the draw package, so there’s no need to download, fill out, and re-upload them.
After adding a cover sheet template, open it to type into the fields, then click ‘Save’. Your entries are saved to the draw and included in the packaged PDF the next time you preview or send the draw package.
You can preview documents by clicking on the blue "eye" icon next to each document, or preview the draw package by clicking 'Preview (.pdf)'. Once satisfied with the draw package, click 'Send Draw'.
Note: Once an edit has been made to the draw package list and saved, the order is remembered and reinitialized in that order. Documents that have been added since the last edit will be listed in the 'New Documents' list, and documents that were excluded in the last edit will be listed in the 'Excluded Documents' list. Any documents that were moved from the draw or deleted will no longer be listed in the draw package.
Copy a Link to the Draw Package
If you’d rather send the draw package from your own email account instead of through Rabbet, you can copy a shareable link to it.
In the ‘Package Draw’ view, click ‘Copy link’ in the toolbar.
The ‘Copy a link to this draw package’ modal shows a preview of what your recipients will see: the draw name, project, amount requested, and the date the link is available until.
Click ‘Copy’ to copy the link to your clipboard, then click ‘Done’.
Paste the link into an email from your own account and send it to your recipients.
Anyone with the link can view and download the draw package as a PDF or ZIP until the date shown in ‘Available until’. After that date, the link will no longer work, so you’ll need to copy and send a new link.
Send Draw
Within the 'Send Draw' modal, add any summary notes. These notes appear in the body of the Rabbet-generated email. You can also select the sections you want included in the body of the email under "Email Sections to Include" Click 'Next'.
Select the Stakeholders to whom the draw should be sent. Click 'Next'.
To review the draw email select the preview before sending.. Once satisfied with the final draw request, click 'Send'.
You will also get a copy of the Draw Submission in your email inbox. The recipients of the email have an option to download draw package or log into Rabbet to view the draw package interactively.

Once the changes have been completed and the draw is ready for re-submission, click 'Package Draw' to begin the flow outlined above.
Be sure that any prior recipients to whom the updated draw should be sent are checked in the Stakeholders selection step. Also add any new Stakeholders to whom the draw should be sent.
The draw email preview now includes 'update' language for the stakeholder recipient. Click 'Send'.
